Steytlerville

Steytlerville is a small town situated north of the Baviaans Mountains named after the local priest, Rev. A.I. Steytler and lies 164km to the north west of Port Elizabeth. The town was founded in 1876 on condition that no alcohol would be served within the confines of the town. This is why all the hotels and liquor outlets lie just beyond the boundaries of the town.
Steytlerville has a diverse and striking landscape. Attractions include various outdoor activities, farm stays and hunting reserves.
