Midrand

The city, home to large scale industries such as vehicles and textiles, experienced most of its growth in the last decade therefore it is a fairly modern place. Midrand's development has created only a little break between the outskirts of Johannesburg and Pretoria, making it a superb venue for businesses. If the cities in the province continue to grow at the current rate they are, it is believed that by 2015 most of the province will be city. Midrand is also home to the African Unions Pan-African Parliament.
